Voodoo: The mystery of powerful magic that only black witches can use

Voodoo is said to be the most powerful magic that only black witches can use. Reviving the dead, healing the sick, summoning demons,... there's nothing voodoo can't do.

1. A misunderstood religion.

2. Black magic.

In the 18th century, when black slaves were brought to New Orleans, the state became the new "home" for their magic to flourish. Some blacks even fled from Haiti to New Orleans, and in the 19th century it exploded with the arrival of the mighty Voodoo Queen – Marie Laveau.

The main features of this magic are the use of songs while dancing in front of the fire, animal sacrifices, the use of a humanoid to insert a needle. It is considered to be extremely powerful magic, even more so than the magic of white witches. 


3. Queen Voodoo – immortal witch.

Marie was born in the French Quarter of New Orleans in 1794. People consider Marie as a gentle, kind woman who likes to do charity work, helping the poor. During the 1853 yellow fever epidemic, many doctors gave up on saving patients, but Marie easily saved the lives of black people in the neighborhood she lived in.

She does not use any medicine, instead, she conducts rituals and sacrifices with ghostly colors. Marie explained to the people around, this is Voodoo - an ancient and most powerful religion on Earth.

When a yellow fever patient is brought in, Marie will put the patient in a circle, surrounded by the bones of many animals such as chickens, dogs, cats... The patient is given a cup of water mixed with white powder. and listened to puzzling sutras from her for hours.

Only a few days later the patient returned to full health. From there, people called her "voodoo queen", others honored her as a saint. But besides that, there are also many people who are afraid that this is a magic trick of a witch.

Once before there were a lot of people, Marie performed the clone technique while being in many places at the same time. Some people claim to have seen Marie use dolls to manipulate the New Orleans ruling class to reduce taxes, freeing many black slaves.

In 1880, she was almost 86 years old, but she norse clothing  looked like a woman in her 30s - no wrinkles on her face, full body, incredibly agile movements. Only a year later, the New Orleans press heavily reported that Marie had died at home, her funeral took place and became the most popular event of the time.

After her death, many intrepid people who wanted to spend the night at Marie's grave swore they had seen her. Even in 1930, a pharmacy in New Orleans received a strange customer. A rather petite black woman dressed in the 19th century entered the store.

Although they have small hands, they are so strong that they beat the owner of the drugstore to death for refusing to sell to black people. After leaving, she told the pharmacy staff and customers: "I am Marie Laveau".
